Introduction

Sai Gon Shipping Joint Stock Company is located in the center of dynamic HCM city, the commercial heart of Viet Nam. The company was founded in 1981, during a period of economic and social very difficulty. But SSC's talented and dedicated team of directors, managers, office employees, crew officers and crew members have been undertaking tireless effort to search innovative ways to serve our esteemed domestic and international customers  effectively. Today, SSC has established its name as a leader in ship-owning, ship operating & managing, ship agency & freight forwarding as well as in warehousing, inland transportation and logistics services in Vietnam.

Saigon Shipping J/S Company has more than 300 talented employees forming a team of dedicated managers, office staff, crew officers and crew members working in the head quarter in Ho Chi Minh City and four branch offices located in major sea ports along Vietnam coast, they are Hai Phong, Da Nang, Qui Nhon, and Can tho. The head office and most of our branch office buildings are Company's own properties. 

We have the 6500 DWT “Saigon Queen” vessel. The ships has built at the Saigon Shipbuilding Industry company and the 6800DWT " Saigon Princess"  vessel  has built at Ba Son factory be fully chartered by Danish Shipowners TKB Shipping A/S  sailing across Asiam Europe, America, North Africa sea. We currently have  two river stream liner of 1000 DWT Long Phu 1 and Long Phu 2 being built under way, as bulk carriers or cold container  36 Tue freight operators river area Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta.

SSC is proud to be the official member of Vietnam Shipping Association (VSA), Vietnam Ship Agents and Brokers Association (VISABA), and Vietnam Freight Forwarders Association (VIFFAS).


Scope Of Business

 * Shipping:

- Transporting goods by sea both in and out of the country

 * Marinme:

- Acting as a maritime agent and broker for both local and foreign ships

- Supplying vessels

 * Logistics:

- Providing services of forwarding goods locally and internationlly  

- Trading in and exploiting container yards and warehouse for goods in transit

- Trading in and providing inland and waterways transportation services

- Providing services of goods transportation by road and by rail

- Acting as air transportation agent

- Providing multi-modal transport services

- Repairing container

 * Multi-disciplinary:

- Leasing offices

- Exporting labor

- Trading in real estates

- Dredging narrow passage of rivers or seaways

- Exploring and trading in minerals

- Manufaturing and processing aquatic products

- Manufacturing and trading in contruction materials

- Making investments in construction and exploring river ports and sea ports.

 * Crew manning:

Supply highly-qualified, professional and experienced crew officers and crew members to worldwide ship-owners.
